Rapid Re-Housing Program

The Rapid Re-housing Program assists families and individuals in exiting homeless situations (e.g., shelters and transitional housing programs) and secure permanent housing.

The goals of the program are to address the barriers that prevent households from leaving transitional housing programs and help clients to move quickly from homelessness to self-sufficiency and independent living.

This program provides households with pre-housing financial assistance, short- or medium-term rental assistance and case management services.

Assisting the City's Homeless Community

The Housing Commission administers the City's homeless services and shelters programs based upon a memorandum of understanding between the City and the Housing Commission.
